Performance Appraisal System

A systematic, general and periodic process that assesses an individual employee's job performance and productivity in relation to certain pre-established criteria and organizational objectives.

Motivation

Employee motivation is a factor, or factors, that induce(s) an employee to purse work-related tasks or goals. Two theories of motivation include extrinsic motivation and intrinsic motivation. Extrinsic motivation involves the use of external factors to influence employee behaviour, such as rewards and punishments.
