Organisational Change

Organizational change can be defined as the alteration in structure, technology or people in an organization or behavior by an organization. Organisational change is an important characteristic of most organisations. An organisation must develop adaptability to change otherwise it will either be left behind or be swept away by the forces of change.

Bandwidth Utilization: Multiplexing and Spreading

Bandwidth utilization is the wise use of available bandwidth to achieve specific goals. Efficiency can be achieved by multiplexing; i.e., sharing of the bandwidth between multiple users. In spread spectrum (SS), we combine signals from different sources to fit into a larger bandwidth, but our goals are to prevent eavesdropping and jamming. To achieve these goals, spread spectrum techniques add redundancy.

Introduction to Wireless Communications and Networks

Wireless Communication is the fastest growing and most vibrant technological areas in the communication field. Wireless Communication is a method of transmitting information from one point to other, without using any connection like wires, cables or any physical medium. Generally, in a communication system, information is transmitted from transmitter to receiver that are placed over a limited distance. With the help of Wireless Communication, the transmitter and receiver can be placed anywhere between few meters (like a T.V. Remote Control) to few thousand kilometres (Satellite Communication).

HDLC, PPP Protocols

In computer networking, Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP) is a data link layer (layer 2) communications protocol used to establish a direct connection between two nodes. It connects two routers directly without any host or any other networking device in between. The major difference between HDLC and PPP is that HDLC is the bit oriented protocol, while PPP is the character-oriented protocol. The HDLC and PPP are the crucial data link layer protocols used in WAN (wide area network) where the HDLC can also be implemented with PPP for the efficient results.

Software Engineering

This is a research-based paper written by me on Software Security tools and services. Software security is an idea implemented to protect software against malicious attack and other hacker risks so that the software continues to function correctly under such potential risks. Security is necessary to provide integrity, authentication and availability.

Creative Thinking

This pdf explains the role of SWOT analysis in any project. A SWOT analysis is designed to facilitate a realistic, fact-based, data-driven look at the strengths and weaknesses of an organization, its initiatives, or an industry. The organization needs to keep the analysis accurate by avoiding pre-conceived beliefs or grey areas and instead focusing on real-life contexts.

System Programming

System programming involves designing and writing computer programs that allow the computer hardware to interface with the programmer and the user, leading to the effective execution of application software on the computer system.

Cyber Security

Cybersecurity refers to the body of technologies, processes, and practices designed to protect networks, devices, programs, and data from attack, damage, or unauthorized access. Cybersecurity may also be referred to as information technology security. This is the full syllabus for Engineers or in general students trying to learn Cyber Security

Project Management

Project management is the practice of initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing the work of a team to achieve specific goals and meet specific success criteria at the specified time. This ppt is created by Nirma faculty Prof. Daiwat Vyas.

Requirement Modelling- Software Engineering

Requirement Modelling uses a combination of text and diagrammatic forms to depict requirements in a way that is relatively easy to understand and to review for correctness, completeness and consistency. It is important for validating software requirements from different points of view.

UPSC Preliminary Syllabus 2019

The Civil Services Preliminary exam comprises of two compulsory papers of 200 marks each (General Studies Paper I and General Studies Paper II). The questions will be of multiple choice, objective type. The marks in prelims will not be counted for final ranking, but just for qualification for the main exam.

BLUETOOTH AND WI-FI WIRELESS PROTOCOLS: A SURVEY AND A COMPARISON

Bluetooth and IEEE 802.11 (Wi-Fi) are two communication protocol standards which define a physical layer and a MAC layer for wireless communications within a short range (from a few meters up to 100 meters) with low power consumption (from less than 1 mW up to 100 mW). Bluetooth is oriented to connecting close devices, serving as a substitute for cables, while Wi-Fi is oriented towards computer-to-computer connections, as an extension of or substitution for cabled LANs. In this paper we offer an overview of these popular wireless communication standards, comparing their main features and behaviors in terms of various metrics, including capacity, network topology, security, quality of service support, and power consumption.
